Dave Wyrsch Sr. Honored for Community Service

The Barnegat Police Department awards Dave Wyrsch Sr, president of The Van Dyk Group, with a Community Service Award for 2006.  Mr Wyrsch and The Van Dyk Group received this award for his generosity in helping fund the Barnegat Police Department's child ID program, "Ident A Kid."

This community policing effort provides ID cards for parents free of charge to carry with them in case of a lost or missing child. Mr Wyrsch after receiving the award, graciously kicked off the 2006 fund raising drive with another donation for the "Ident A Kid" program
